Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting

It’s almost here! One of the most anticipated days of the year for the Comox Valley Chamber of Commerce (CVCC).

Thursday, May 9th, will mark the Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting ceremony for the CVCC’s new location nestled in the heart of Downtown Courtenay, at #103 - 576 England Ave. This event signifies the culmination of months of meticulous planning, with unwavering focus on meeting the needs of our Members and the wider community.

The open house kicks off at 10 am, welcoming Members of the Chamber, the local business community, and the public at large to explore the Business Hub. To assist us in our preparations, we encourage all interested parties to register (link here) for the official ribbon-cutting at 5:30 pm. Light refreshments will be served during the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Attendees will have the opportunity to admire stunning works of art by renowned Comox Valley artists Laurie Martz and Elaine Smith, showcased within our new premises, while acquainting themselves with the array of business-enhancing amenities that the space offers – from a 14-person boardroom to multi-functional workshop and event spaces, as well as co-working desk rentals.

The Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting ceremony promises to be an unforgettable occasion, and the Chamber warmly invites members of our community to join us in celebrating the unveiling of our new establishment.
